	Peter Carl Faberge founded the worldwide famous Faberge jewelry school in the middle of the 19th century, where he created many unique objects d’art for the courts of Russia and Europe. Pendants in the form of miniature Easter eggs are considered the cornerstone of Faberge’s art style. Faberge designed thousands of them. They ranged in form from simple monochrome to exquisitely fashioned models made of jewels. These articles decorated the women of royal families and high society circles. The variety of items in the style of Faberge is numerous. Besides the Easter eggs, the majority of which are exact copies of the Easter Eggs by Karl Faberge, the assortment includes photo frames, enamel boxes, cuff links and pendants. Additionally, Faberge was famous for manufacturing various figures, blades, ashtrays, powder boxes and more. He was a genius in the technique of stone-cutting.
